HAGATNA, Guam—Bank of Guam has been recognized with four international awards—two platinums and two golds—that honored its marketing and promotional efforts.
This year, Bank of Guam won Platinum for two print media: its 2019 Sustainability Calendar and its 2018 Year in Review. The bank also won gold for its 2018 Economic Forum Promotional Item (Glass Flask) and its 2018 Corporate Gift Item (Bamboo Notebook and Pen), which was wrapped in seed paper.
MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by communications, marketing and advertising professionals, and has grown to one of the largest of its kind in the world. Administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, the association oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and sets standards in excellence.
Joaquin Cook, the bank’s president and chief executive officer, said, “We are proud of the work of our communications team, who continually demonstrate that local talent can successfully produce prize-winning pieces and compete with the best internationally. Our community is an important source of our inspiration, and we happily share this recognition with you.” (PR)
