The CNMI Women’s Association welcomes business partners as corporate sponsors of the first Women’s “Fun-Raise-Her” Dinner on Friday, Nov. 22, from 6pm to 10pm, at the Hibiscus Hall of Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan in Garapan.

“We stress our strong commitment to continue supporting and advocating for the education, employment, and economic equity for all women for a better and stronger Commonwealth,” CWA program administrator Felicidad Ogumoro said. “With corporate sponsorships, we can continue to realize this.”

McDonald’s Saipan recently donated $1,500 to CWA support of its inaugural “Fun-Raise-Her” Dinner. The event, which CWA wants to become a yearly fundraiser, is intended to be CWA’s signature event to celebrate, support, and help raise much-needed funds for women.

Other corporate sponsors that have signed up are Tan Siu Lin Foundation and TanHoldings, Bank of Guam, IT&E, Marianas Variety, and Fiesta Resort & Spa. Each gave CWA either $1,500 cash or in-kind donations.

CWA invites the community to support the fundraiser, to help further advance girls and women in the CNMI.

With tickets priced at $75 per person, proceeds from the first “Fun-Raise-Her” would support CWA’s operations and programs, services, and activities on women’s education, career training, and leadership development.

Year after year, CWA continues to expand traditional networks of assistance through its collaboration with employment and education providers while continuing community-based efforts to increase access and opportunity for our women and their families.

For more information on CWA programs and to purchase “Fun-Raise-Her” tickets, contact 233-8978/9411, email cwa.fogumoro@gmail.com, or visit the CWA Office (Building #1223) on Capital Hill.
