Over 100 spectators checked out the Saipan Chamber of Commerce’s first-ever Business Expo last Saturday at the Saipan World Resort’s Royal Taga Hall, which featured 23 businesses in all.

Chamber executive director Maxine Laszlo said the businesses that participated—all of them members of the Chamber—had the opportunity to showcase their products and services.

“There has been a lot of networking and the vendors have…been really thankful to be connected with other business and with thea really great turnout,” she told Saipan Tribune.

Laszlo said the Chamber looks forward to future collaborations and events similar to this expo.

Spectators were also given the opportunity to win raffle prizes provided by the Chamber and the vendors. Each spectator got one ticket upon entering, and they had more opportunities to get more raffle tickets if they visited 10 of the expo vendors.

Attendees also had the chance to view new products, special discounts on products and services for the holidays, and much more that were exclusive to the Business Expo.

A spectator who seemed impressed said the Business Expo looked well handled than the typical job fair or human resource fair. He said he was also glad to see the many businesses that came together and worked with one another through a shared network.

The list of vendors included Budget/Payless Rental Car, U.S. Census, Chiku Chiku, Colorstreet Nails, D&Q Saipan, D&R Visuals, First Hawaiian Bank, I Love Saipan, Island Training Solutions, IT&E, Laolao Bay Golf & Resort, N15 Architects, Ocean Ridge Homes, Marianas Health Services, Marianas Pacific Distributors, Pacific Trading Co.y, Pacifica Insurance, Paradise Dental Spa, Rebel-Fi CNMI, Saipan Programming School, Surfrider Hotel, Tahine’s Productions, and Takecare Insurance.
