TanHoldings stretches streak to seven

TanHoldings Football Club is still on a roll, as it notched its seventh straight victory in the co-ed U12 division of the 2019 NMIFA Fall Youth League following a 4-1 triumph over MP United Football Club last Saturday at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.
Mark Costales scored two goals, while Monico Claridades and Kaithlyn Chavez added one apiece to keep TanHoldings’ winning streak and give their squad a safe distance against the second-running Kanoa.
TanHoldings’ 7-0-0 win-draw-loss record put the squad two victories ahead of Kanoa and moving the former one triumph away from virtually clinching the division title this season.
MP United, on the other hand, absorbed its fifth loss to remain in third place. Miles Linden delivered the lone goal for MP United.
In the other match in the division, Kanoa topped Shirley’s, 4-2.
Paul Lizama had a brace for Kanoa, which drew one goal each from Rooney Gil and Tyler Omelau. Arif Khan logged the two goals for Shirley’s, which has yet to win this season with just two games left in the competition.

TanHoldings 6, Kanoa 2
TanHoldings was still at it despite securing the season championship last week.
Mark Esalan fired five goals to hand TanHoldings its seventh win in eight games. Jerald Aquino tallied the other goal for TanHoldings.
Kanoa got its pair of goals from Andruw Omelau and Markus Toves.
MP United 1, Matansa 1
MP United denied Matansa’s entry to the win column after forcing a draw in the other game in the division last Friday.
Oliver Lee registered the equalizer for MP United in the 67th minute, while Xin Wen Jin recorded the goal for Matansa in the 49th.
