Docomo Pacific becomes 1st to launch 5G in Marianas

TAMUNING, Guam—Docomo Pacific announced yesterday its achievement in being the first telecommunications company to commercially launch 5G in the Marianas. 

The new 5G service is now operational in the villages of Tamuning and Hagåtña. 

In March, Docomo Pacific introduced the island’s first 5G Open Lab, allowing local and worldwide partners to test and co-create practical solutions in a 5G environment.
