Dandan Middle School PTSA meeting set
Dandan Middle School will conduct its Parent Teacher Student Association meeting for school year 2019–2020 on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019, at 6pm in the school’s cafeteria.

PTSA is hosting the Totot Bash on Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, from 5pm to 9pm. We are inviting members of the community for a Family Fun Night with games, booths, and food for all to enjoy!

The school’s My WAVE club is inviting everyone for treats on Halloween Evening at the Annual DMS Trick O’ Treat from 5pm until all the treats are given away. (PR)

CUC Trunk-or-Treat on Thursday
The Commonwealth Utilities Corporation cordially invites the public to this year’s CUC Trunk-or-Treat on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, from 5pm to 7pm at the Joeten Dandan parking lot. (PR)

JKPL to host Trunk-Or-Treat anew
The Joeten-Kiyu Public Library will be hosting the 8th Annual Community Halloween Trunk-Or-Treat on Oct. 31, 2019, from 2:30pm to 5:30pm at the library’s parking lot in Susupe.

Held every year in collaboration with the organization Friends of the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library, the library will be sponsoring a Halloween contest for “Best Trunk” and “Best Recyclable Book Costume.”

The library will be open briefly this Halloween from 10am to noon.

Karidat awarded grant
Catholic Charities USA has awarded Karidat Social Services a 2018 National Disaster Case Management Grant to provide assistance to families who are still trying to recover from Super Typhoon Yutu. The grant will provide short-term rental assistance to families on Saipan and Tinian who meet the eligibility criteria. If you would like more information or would like to schedule an appointment with the caseworker, call the Karidat main office at 234-6981 from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm. (PR)
