A home near Paseo de Marianas in Garapan was robbed Tuesday night, with a bag, pouches, jewelry, documents, and a slew of electronic gadgets among the items were stolen.

Saipan Tribune learned that the robbery happened between 7pm and 9pm Tuesday night, after the home owner came home and noticed the missing items. She called 911 around 9pm.

Word about the robbery spread after friends of the victim posted news of the incident on Facebook and urged the public to call the owner or the police if they have information about it. It was noted that the owners were still checking if any further items were stolen.

The owner and the Department of Safety cautioned the public about anyone who will be selling some of the stolen items and to call the police if anyone tries to sell them some of the items.

DPS said yesterday that this case is still under investigation and asked the community’s help to report any clues that could help solve this case.

If you have any information about this robbery, call 911 or the CNMI Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous at (670) 234-7272.
