Perfect record for TanHoldings; Kanoa wins

TanHoldings Football Club kept its unbeaten record after notching another victory in the co-ed U12 division of the 2019 NMIFA Fall Youth League last Saturday at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.

TanHoldings hammered Shirley’s FC, 9-2, to improve to a 5-0-0 win-draw-loss mark.

Monico Claridades towed TanHoldings to the easy win after making a hat trick, while Semante Jimenez contributed two goals, and Jerald Dalawampu, Tamia Hix, Jared Coby Villagomez, and Adrei Kaithlyn Chavez chipped in one apiece.

Mohamad Khan delivered the pair of goals for Shirley’s, which is still winless after five games to remain at the bottom of the team standings.

In the other U12 division match, Kanoa topped MP United, 4-2, to keep pace with TanHoldings, as the former now has a 4-0-1 slate.

Paul Lizama tallied a pair of goals for Kanoa, while Rigel Devey and Raymond Deijitas registered one apiece. Takeru Jim and Linden Miles had one goal each for MP United.

TanHoldings downed MP United in the second game in the division last weekend.

Kohtaro Goto led TanHoldings with his three goals, while Oliver Fajardo added one. Dylan Mister made the lone goal for MP United.

With the win, TanHoldings now has a 3-0-1 record to keep idle Kanoa within striking distance. Kanoa is on top of the team standings with its 3-1-0 mark. Matansa fell to third place with its 2-1-1 card.

Alex Megino had a brace for Matansa, which finally barged into the win column after three futile attempts. Carl Salas and Praise Woo delivered the two other goals for Matansa, while the winless Shirley’s drew its lone goal from Gabriel Arkoh Jr.
