Woman allegedly stabs man with knife
A man was injured when a woman allegedly stabbed him with a knife during an argument at a home in Kagman III Thursday night.
Julita Namauleg, 53, was arrested for alleged assault with a dangerous weapon and disturbing the peace.
At a hearing yesterday, Superior Court Associate Judge Wesley Bogdan imposed a $15,000 cash bail on Namauleg.
Police said the victim sustained two cuts on the right elbow, each about half an inch deep, a minor laceration on the right hip, and a scratch on his back.
The relationship between Namauleg and the victim was not indicated in the report.
According to a police detective, a police officer responded to Kagman III Friday at 12:27am after the Department of Public Safety received a call about an injured person.
When a police officer arrived at the scene, he saw the injured victim along the highway, yelling at Namauleg why she stabbed him. Namauleg kept insisting that she did not stab him.
Medics then transported the victim to the hospital.
The officer learned from the victim that he, Namauleg, and another man had been drinking at their house Thursday night. At 11pm, the victim asked the two to grab their belongings as he was going to sleep.
The victim and Namauleg got into an argument an. Namauleg allegedly grabbed a small knife from the top of a shelf and tried to stab the victim. The victim managed to move away, but sustained a small cut on his elbow.
