7 CHCC coding personnel pass certified coder exam

Seven medical coding personnel from the Commonwealth Health Care Corp. recently passed their national coding certification exam.
Rose Gibbons, Renaesha Cepeda, Katelynn Duenas, Abelyn Taman, Lizelle Feria, and Marissa Quichocho took the exam last month. Amy Tadios passed the CPC exam late last year.
A Certified Professional Coder certification represents excellence in medical coding, and being a CPC means that these personnel have expertise in reviewing and assigning accurate medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services performed by physicians and other qualified healthcare providers. CHCC said in a statement that it remains committed to improving the patient experience at all levels, including billing.
“Ensuring that the corporation’s coders are nationally certified is an important step in increasing the efficiency and the accuracy of CHCC medical coding and billing personnel, and improving the CHCC as a whole,” it added.
