Kagman PTSA meeting cancelled
The Oct. 22 meeting of the Kagman Unified Schools’ Parents Teachers Students Association has been canceled due to the impending storm. (PR)
CPA board committee meetings cancelled
Due to the anticipated threat of Typhoon Bualoi, the Commonwealth Ports Authority’s committee meetings scheduled Oct.r 21 and 22, 2019, are postponed until further notice. (PR)
Guam workshops on federal contracting
The Guam Procurement Technical Assistance Center is offering free workshops on federal contracting. The workshops will run from 9am to 10am at the University of Guam in the Jesus and Eugenia Leon GuerreroBusiness and Public Admin Building, Margarita Perez & Jaime Tuquero IT&E Lecture Hall, Room 131(unless otherwise specified):
Oct. 24: Wages – Which wage do you pay your employees on government contracts? The Guam PTAC will discuss the various laws and regulations to make sure you stay in compliance.
Oct. 31 31: Teaming & JVs – What are they and which is right for your business? The Guam PTAC will discuss the federal regulations related to these arrangements and discuss ways to use these arrangements effectively.
For project management professionals, Guam PTAC workshops may count toward your annual professional development unit (PDU) goals!
