Thursday traffic arraignments set for 9am
This is to inform the public that the Superior Court will be hearing all traffic arraignments set for Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019, at 9am at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi- Purpose Building in Susupe.

Zoning office closed on Oct. 24
This is to inform the public that the Saipan Zoning Office will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, from 7:30am to 4:30pm to conduct a professional development and training workshop for its staff. Regular office hours will resume on Monday, Oct. 28, 2019, at 7:30am. (PR)
JKPL and Bookmobile resumes operations
The Joeten-Kiyu Public Library and the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library’s Bookmobile Outreach Services will resume normal operations today, Oct. 16, 2019. Saipan to host terrestrial conservation conference
The 3rd Annual Marianas Terrestrial Conservation Conference & Workshop will be held on Nov. 18-20, at the Hibiscus Hall of Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan in Garapan. Registration is free and open to the public, and will include presentations on terrestrial conservation, field trips and activities such as pre-conference proa rides and Mariana swiftlet field trip, and a lizard identification trip at American Memorial Park. To register, visit marianasterrestrialconservation.org. It also includes a birding trip, tree planting for Yutu recovery, Jeffrey’s Beach tour, and native limestone forest hike. SHRM meeting on Oct. 23
The Society for Human Resource Management NMI Chapter is inviting its members, associated HR and management staff, and interested members of the public to attend its next general membership meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Pacific Islands Club Saipan’s Charley’s Cabaret beginning at 11am.
The meeting will feature PSS Cooperative Education program coordinator Brandon Nicholas and Northern Marianas Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence executive director Maisie Tenorio. This meeting is open to the public.
