WAO thanks donors, volunteers, and partners
The Women’s Affairs Office under the Office of the Governor extends its gratitude and appreciation to the numerous donors, volunteers, partners and exhibitors for taking part in the CNMI’s first Dress for Success event in early September.
Shirley Camacho-Ogumoro, the special adviser for women’s affairs, stated that over a hundred women attended the event and expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to connect with agencies to assist with their career advancement.
“The mini-workshops and activities really could not have been possible without the various agencies, organizations and donors in the CNMI. We hope to continue to empower women and provide opportunities for them to thrive and we certainly hope to strengthen this current network of support since we are just getting started,” Camacho-Ogumoro said.
