Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested Monday on Capital Hill a woman who was allegedly elling methamphetamine or “ice” on Saipan.

Minna M. Camacho, 40, was served with an arrest warrant for trafficking and possession of controlled substance.

At a hearing yesterday, Superior Court Associate Judge Wesley Bogdan imposed a $100,000 cash bail on Camacho and set the preliminary hearing for Oct. 23 at 9am.

According to DETF officer Jackson K. Davis in his report, their “cooperating source” disclosed last Oct. 2 that Camacho is actively distributing “ice” to customers on the island.

David said the “cooperating source” managed to buy 0.4 gross grams of methamphetamine worth $100 from Camacho last Oct. 5 during a buy-walk operation.

Camacho allegedly handed the methamphetamine to the “cooperating source” inside the latter’s car that was parked near MGM Poker in Garapan.
