Tinian got back power, water supply
As of Tuesday, most residents of Tinian got back their power supply and 99% of the island’s water services were back online, according to Commonwealth Utilities executive director Gary P. Camacho.
He said feeders 2 and 3 went online at 2:27pm.
Camacho said the station power was also online and ready to energize the remaining feeders.
He said power transmission and distribution damage assessment is ongoing.
As for Tinian’s water supply, Camacho reported Tuesday night that the Maui II Pump Station was online with backup generator power.
He said water services were back at San Jose Village, the Tinian Health Center, Department of Public Safety/Fire Department, Tinian Mayor’s Office, subdivision, Housing/Broadway Estates, Marpo Heights I and II, Marpo Valley, and portions of Carolinas Heights/Suicide Cliff area.
As for Saipan’s power supply, Camacho said that feeder 7 was online as of Tuesday at 4:16pm, energizing Lower Base, Tanapag Elementary School, Tanapag, Santa Remedios Church, As Mahetog, Achugao, San Roque, As Matuis, and Marpi.
Camacho said the lateral across San Roque Chuch was offline, pending repairs by power crew.
