Rising star Elvis Han visits Marianas

Up-and-coming Chinese actor Elvis Han visited the Marianas on Sept. 23-26, 2019, to explore the tourism offerings of the destination with OK! Magazine China, the first news and celebrity fashion weekly in China, emphasizing social media-friendly content.
The 27-year-old Han was named Rising New Actor at the 10th China TV Drama Awards in 2018, Most Fashionable Artist at the 14th Esquire Man at His Best Awards in 2017, and Best Actor (Web Series) at the Golden Guduo Media Awards in 2016 for his performance in Wu Xin: The Monster Killer.
In addition to acting, Han is prolific at race car driving, skiing, and other sports. He has over 7.8 million fans on Sina Weibo, one of the most influential social media platforms in China.

“While in the Marianas, Han had the opportunity to explore the islands by land, sea, and air, taking a self-driving tour, a boat ride to our famous Managaha, and a helicopter tour,” said Marianas Visitors Authority marketing manager Thomas Kim. “He also visited some of our most scenic sites, including Managaha, Forbidden Island, Micro Beach, San Juan Beach, and more. The MVA was pleased to support this media [familiarization] tour, which will help familiarize Han’s many fans and OK! Magazine’s readers with our beautiful Marianas.”
The tour was also supported by Hyatt Regency Saipan, Century Tours, Kanoa Resort Saipan, and Skydive Saipan.
OK! Magazine China, which targets readers ages 17-44 and has a circulation of 800,000, will publish its video and photo coverage of Han’s visit n in its November 2019 issue. (MVA)
