Lieto’s innings pitched totaled 17 after the Tigers’ 6-4 upset victory over defending champions Tan Holdings Brewers last week at the Francisco “Tan Ko” Palacios Ballfield and allowed no runs to keep her 0.00 ERA. He is tied with three others for the top spot in the pitching leaderboard, joining the company of the Yankees’ Manny Cabrera (11 innings), the North Starz’s Dave Jones (9.2 innings), and the Fielders’ Tony Benavente (7 innings). Completing the pitching chart was the Brewers’ Vince Cepeda, who has a 0.57 ERA after pitching 15.2 innings and giving up one run.

Cepeda also made it to the strikeouts leaders list, but is behind Lieto, who has 33 so far compared to the latter’s 23. Former strikeouts leader Joe Palacios of the Fielders slid to second with his 24 Ks.

In the batting race, the Brewers’ Nokki Saralu retained the top spot, while the Yankees’ Jerome Delos Santos made a giant leap, moving from 14th place to second. Saralu hit 10-for-22 after last week’s games for a batting average of .455, while Delos Santos holds a .429 average after going 9-for-21. Completing the Top 5 are Fielders’ Vince Sablan (8-for-20/.400), the Yankees’ Brian Camacho (9-for-25/.360), and the Fielders’ Jared Sablan (12-for-34/.353).

Rounding out the batting race are the Tigers’ Phil Celis (.350); the Brewers’ Tyrone Omar (.350); the Brewers’ Anthony Leon Guerrero (.348); the Tigers’ Rocco Reyes (.333); the Brewers’ Jun Rabauliman (.308), Diego Camacho (.304), and Byron Kaipat (.286), the Yankees’ Greg Iskawa (.286); and the Tigers’ Tom Guerrero (.286) and Mark Toves (.278).

In the runs category, Omar has 11 so far, ahead by just one against Saralu and the Tigers’ Ian Rogolifoi. In the doubles race, the Tigers’ Jesse Yamagishi is on top with his four, while three players have three apiece. In the RBIs division, Saralu has 12 to pace Vince Sablan (8) and the North Starz’s Cedric Ada (6).
