Torres to speak at Chamber monthly meeting

Gov. Ralph DLG Torres will be the guest speaker at the upcoming general membership meeting of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at the Seaside Hall of Kanoa Resort.

Torres will speak about the administration’s policy initiatives with a focus on the foreign worker (CW) application process and the recent announcement by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to extend the application deadline to Nov. 1, 2019. The governor will also talk about his commitment to collaboration between the administration and the private sector.

Lunch will be served at 11:30am and the meeting will begin promptly at noon. The luncheon fee is $25 for Chamber members and $35 for non-members. The Chamber is accepting reservations of six or more.
