Pro-life walk/roll on Sept. 27, 2019
Grace Christian Ministries Navy Hill is inviting the public to join them for a candlelight prayer walk/roll on Friday, Sept. 27, at 5:30pm, at the Minachom Atdao. Its purpose is to pray over the many needs of the island related to the issue of abortion. After the worship songs and prayer there will be a walk/roll to Quartermaster Road then back to Minachon Atdao. (PR)
Guam Soil and Water Conservation District board meeting set
The Northern Guam Soil and Water Conservation District Board will meet on Sept. 23, 2019, at 2pm at the Adelup Governor’s conference room in Anigua’ for the election of board officers. All government and NGO partners and farmers are invited to attend. (PR)
MHS Class of ’81 reunion meeting set
This is to inform all Marianas High School 1981 graduates that the reunion meeting originally set for Thursday, Sept. 26, has been postponed and reschedule to Friday, Sept. 27, 2019, starting at 6pm at the TechNic Gaming Center above Sherwin Williams and across Bank of Hawaii on Middle Road. (PR)
Zoning closed on Sept. 20
The Saipan Zoning Office will be closed on Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, from 7:30am to 4:30pm for a professional development and training workshop for its staff. Regular office hours will resume on Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, at 7:30am. (PR)
Checkpoints today
The CNMI Department of Public Safety will be conducting occupant protection/child restraint checkpoints today, Sept. 19, 2019. The first checkpoint will be on Beach Road, Garapan to Beach Road, Chalan Kanoa, from 8:15am to 9:30am. The second checkpoint will be on Chalan Pale Arnold, Puerto Rico to Chalan Pale Arnold, Chalan Lau Lau, from 4:30pm to 5:45pm. (PR)
