United is emerald sponsor of MINA’s Green Gala
United Airlines has committed as an emerald sponsor for the 2019 Green Gala by donating this year’s grand raffle prize of one roundtrip economy class ticket from Saipan via Guam/Honolulu to one of the many United destinations worldwide.
The prize ticket will be raffled at the event on Sept. 13, 2019, at the Hibiscus Hall of the Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan.
Paula Monk, United Airlines senior sales manager for Guam and Micronesia, said, “United Airlines is proud to support the Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance in its vital work to conserve our region’s natural resources and minimize impact on the environment. MINA’s work to create a sustainable future aligns with United’s commitment to environmental stewardship and our mission to be the most environmentally sustainable airline in the world. We thank MINA for their work in helping to keep our islands beautiful for generations ahead.”

The Green Gala pulls the community together to celebrate the successes of conservation efforts in the CNMI, as well as raises critical operational funds that enable MINA to continue its mission. The theme for this year is Bring Back Our Trees, a program that focuses on replanting on coastline restoration from the after-effects of typhoons Soudelor and Yutu.
As of yesterday, tickets to the event are all sold out, and MINA is extremely grateful for the outpouring of support for this event. (PR)
