The Commonwealth Health Care Corp.’s board of trustees approved a total of eight applications for medical privileges last Aug. 15.

The board was supposed to review and vote on seven applications only but board member Polly Masga asked for a conditional determination on Dr. William Moss’ application for medical privileges.

Other than Moss, a total of five doctors and two physician assistants were granted medical privileges: Leticia Borja, Philip Dauterman, Michael Hart, Elizabeth Kohnen, Ngoc-Phuong Luu, Christine Strong, and Christopher Jensen.

When a doctor or physician is approved for medical privileges, he/she is given the authority granted by a hospital governing board (the CHCC board of trustees) to provide patient care in the hospital.
