The Philippine Consulate General in Guam, in coordination with Philippine honorary consul to the CNMI Glicerio Arago, just ended its third consular mission on Saipan this year. The three-day consular mission was held from last Thursday to Saturday at the Kristo Rai Parish social hall.

According to consul Mark Francis Hamoy, this mission focused on Philippine citizens who needed new passports.

Other services provided were petitions for dual citizenship, vital reports, reports of marriage, and reports of birth from the Philippine Statistics Authority or from the former National Statistics Office.

Hamoy said the passport processing entertained about 20 people per hour. “Sometimes the numbers overlap, but we try to keep it at less than 30 people at a given time to avoid overcrowding,” he said.
