Tools stolen from MRE company van in Gualo Rai
Department of Public Safety officers were dispatched to Gualo Rai last Thursday, Aug. 8, in response to a 911 call that reported a theft incident at Micronesia Renewable Energy. The call was received at about 7:36am.
Police officers arrived at the scene at about 7:47am and met with a Micronesia Renewable Energy employee, who led officers to a company van. The employee stated that, after clocking in for work, they walked over to the van to gather some tools. After the employee opened the van they noticed that several tools appeared to be missing, and called the company manager. After speaking with the company manager, 911 was called.
A neighboring witness stated that they recall seeing a sedan and two different pickup trucks around the area early that morning. The witness does not remember any details of the vehicles, only stating that one truck was clearly the color white, with no idea of the make, model, or trim.
After a quick inventory, items missing from the company van included one red-and-white Milwaukee bandsaw, one red-and-white Milwaukee compact drill, one red-and-white Milwaukee grinder, one drill bit set, one ethernet RJ45 crimper, one Everest claw hammer, one impact drive bit set, one insulated screw driver, one Klein tools linemen’s pliers, one Klein tools multi-tester, one long-nose pliers, one socket tool set, two red-and-white Milwaukee battery chargers, two red-and-white Milwaukee Impact drivers, five in-line tap connectors, and six Milwaukee cordless tool batteries.
