XO Market located along Middle Road believes that providing an enjoyable grocery experience and high-quality food are key drivers for keeping its regular customers happy.
In November of last year, XO Market moved to a bigger space, almost triple the size of its former store, according to its store manager “We used to rent our space and after eight years, we decided to build our own which is just next to our old space,” she said.
“The bigger space has also allowed us to add more products into our inventory and our customers love it because we get feedback that there are food items and non-food items that they can only get from our store,” she added.
The bright lights, high ceilings, and wider spaces in the grocery definitely boosts the shopping experience of XO Market customers by making everything easily visible and accessible.
The store manager recalls, her company started in the grocery business in 2005 on Tinian. “In 2010, we got an offer to buy and have control and management of XO Market on Middle Road from its former owner… it was a good opportunity because of the big space of the supermarket and it was in a good location so we went for it,” she said.
“To date, XO is known in the community to have cheaper products than other groceries and supermarkets because we get our supplies direct from the mainland. Some 80% of our frozen products like meat, seafood, and poultry we get direct from the source so they are guaranteed fresh,” she added.
XO Market also has a wide array of fresh vegetables and dry items that they get directly from the source—both local and mainland. To date, their customers range from residents to hotels and restaurants.
XO Market is open from Monday to Sunday from 6:30am to 12am. For more information, call (670) 2359168.
