Six airmen from the Guam Air National Guard’s 254th Force Support Squadron returned yesterday morning from a deployment in support of Operation Inherent Resolve in Southwest Asia.
The airmen of the 254FSS were tasked to enhance combat-readiness by providing worldwide agile combat support and community services by delivering superior morale, welfare, recreation, manpower and personnel programs services.
“Although some airmen have returned, the Guard asks the public for their continued support of our soldiers and airmen, who are still deployed, as well as their families,” said Maj. Gen. Esther J.C. Aguigui, The Adjutant General of the Guam National Guard. “We still have other airmen from the 254th Air Base Group, the 254th Security Forces Squadron and the 254th Force Support Squadron and soldiers from the 1st-294th Infantry Regiment who are currently deployed or supporting missions around the world. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers now and for the duration of their deployment.” (PR)
