SYP presents ‘Emotional Intelligence’

Everyone tells you how important your Intelligence Quotient (IQ) is but no one tells you that your Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is just as important and may even be affecting you and others in the work place.

The Saipan Young Professionals is proud to present “Emotional Intelligence,” a training seminar to be facilitated by Jim Arenovski of Island Training Solutions. In this training participants will be able to learn basic emotional intelligence skills to improve personal and working relationships; how to recognize emotional triggers in themselves and in others for more effective relationship management; and improve emotional intelligence to position themselves for personal, team, and business success.

Arenovski is a certified hospitality trainer for the American Hotel and Lodging Institute (AHLEI) and is the only Certified Gitomer Advisor in Micronesia. With over 35 years of experience, Arenovski offers a variety of effective professional development training for numerous businesses and organizations across the Marianas. The Saipan Young Professionals is humbled by his eagerness to volunteer his time and expertise to impart valuable information to the SYP membership and other young professionals on Saipan.

This training seminar will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 5:30pm to 8pm at the Chamber Office located on the 3rd floor of the Marianas Business Plaza, Suite #315. The training is free to registered Saipan Young Professionals and is $35/non-SYP members. Advance registration is encouraged as limited seating is available. Participants will enjoy light refreshments and a chance to network with other business professionals in the community.
