The Marianas Visitors Authority recently held its first road shows in two central China cities, Wuhan and Changsha.

The road shows, held on June 18 and 20, 2019, respectively, were an opportunity for the MVA and its tourism partners to promote the destination and conduct B2B meetings with travel agents, media, and other industry representatives.

“Being two important hubs of rail transportation and communications in the central area of China, with a large population and fast-growing economic development, we see more and more Chinese visitors from Wuhan and Changsha have been visiting the Marianas via charter flights,” said MVA deputy managing director Judy C. Torres, who led the MVA delegation at the event. “We believe these cities have great potential, and we would like to explore further in this region.”

The MVA was joined by several travel industry partners who also shared about their tourism resources: Brighten International Travel, Centours, Top Development Inc, Asiana Airlines, Incheon Airport, Saipan Skydive, and Impression Tour. Additional promotional materials and prizes for the road show were provided by Aqua Resort Club, Hyatt Regency Saipan, and Grandvrio Resort Saipan. (MVA)
