The woman who robbed a poker arcade at knifepoint pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Artemia Gabayeron, 51, pleaded guilty to robbing the Royal Poker gaming arcade in Oleai last April and to robbing the cashier at knife-point.

Gabayeron was sentenced to serve a 10-year imprisonment, all suspended except for five years. She was given credit for over two months of time served.

Upon her release, Gabayeron will be placed on probation for five years. She is also required to pay court fees, probation fees, and restitution of $649 to Royal Poker.

Gabayeron was allegedly caught on surveillance footage robbing the Royal Poker gaming arcade in Oleai last April 11 of exactly $649.

The suspect walked into the establishment between 6:30am and 6:45am after security guard had left before proceeding with the robbery.

The suspect called the cashier for assistance first before forcing her way into the cashier’s area and holding the cashier at knifepoint.

A short struggle occurred before the suspect was able to open the cash register and grab a handful of cash valued at $649.

The suspect then fled the establishment, going south toward Oleai.

Gabayeron was apprehended two days later at her home.
