PSS to graduate about 700 students this year
The Public School System expects to have 701 graduates this year, with the Dr. Rita Hocog Jr/Sr High School kicking off the season last May 24, 2019, and Tinian Jr./Sr. High School starting this week’s graduations.
PSS associate commissioner Lynnette Villagomez said the 701 count is based off this year’s enrollment.
Today, the Tinian Jr./Sr. High School would have their commencement exercises at the school campus cafeteria at 10am for the middle school promotions and at the Antonio M. Borja Amphitheatre at 4pm for the high school seniors.
“We are just so proud of them for being very strong [despite] all the adversities we faced this year,” said acting education commissioner Jackie Quitugua last week. “…They [are] resilient students and we honor them for that.”
