Lugtu, Quiambao, Castro top NMIS graduates

Patricia Denielle G. Lugtu, Austin Dominiq Q. Quiambao, and Sumai Francine B. Castro led their respective classes in the Northern Marianas International School’s 6th Commencement Exercises held last Sunday at the Fiesta Hall of the Grandvrio Resort.
Lugtu, who was named the fifth grade class valedictorian, gave thanks to the support of her family, friends, teachers, and classmates.
CNMI State Public School System Head Start and Early Head Start program director Lathania Santos was the keynote speaker.
She even praised Tiana Isabella B. Meyers, a former Head Start program student, for ending up as the K-3 salutatorian behind Sumai Francine B. Castro, the class valedictorian. Pranab K. Roy was the K-5 salutatorian, while Lorayne Mickaelle G. Ganacias was the fifth-grade salutatorian.
NMIS principal Dr. John Joyner challenged the graduates “to continue to be successful in your academic, social, and relationship skills. Continue to grow and develop with friendship, love, and caring.”
NMIS also had three middle school graduates—John Michael Balgos, Justin Bryce C. Mateo, and Eddie Francisc B. Valdoz.
