Register for NMC’s fall semester at Thursday Information Session

Attendees of the Northern Marianas College Information Session will be able to register for the fall 2019 semester. The free information session is scheduled this Thursday, June 6, 2019, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at NMC’s Olympio T. Borja Library. The Northern Marianas College is inviting individuals who are interested in furthering their education or advancing their professional careers to attend its information session scheduled this Thursday, June 6, 2019. Attendees will be able to register for the college’s fall 2019 semester.

The information session is open to all community members and especially to recent high school graduates. The session, which will be held from 5:30pm to 6:30pm in the Olympio T. Borja Library at the college’s As Terlaje campus. The Information Session will also allow participants to register for classes immediately after the event.

The topics that will be discussed include the college’s degree programs, financial aid, and other initiatives.

Participants will also qualify to have their application fee and their placement test fees waived for NMC’s upcoming fall 2019 semester, a savings of about $75.

NMC faculty, staff, and students from the different degree programs at NMC, as well as Student Services representatives from counseling, financial aid, and admissions, will be on hand to answer questions.

NMC offers several degree and certificate programs, including a bachelor of science degree in education (emphasis in elementary education, early childhood education, special education, or rehabilitation and human services), bachelor of science degree in business management (emphasis in accounting); bachelor of science in criminal justice (through the University of Guam); associate of arts degree in business, associate of applied science degrees in business administration (emphasis in accounting, business management, or computer applications), associate of arts in liberal arts (emphasis in education, health and physical education, and social work), associates of science in nursing, natural resources management, associate of applied science in criminal justice, and hospitality management.
