Islandwide Cleanup today and tomorrow

The Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality would like to invite the public to participate in the two-day Islandwide Cleanup today, May 31, from 3pm to 4:30pm and tomorrow, June 1, from 8am to 10am. The event is part of the celebration of Environmental Awareness Week, which will be celebrated on May 28-31, 2019. (PR)

Workshop on bottom fishing and fish handling

The Department of Lands and Natural Resources and the Western Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Council announces the availability of a program to assist in the development of bottom fish fisheries in the CNMI.

This program includes a fully functional fishing vessel, workshops on bottom fishing gear, seafood safety and marketing. The workshop is free but limited to 10 participants and is set to begin on June 1, 2019, through June 2, 2019, in Lower Base.

Kagman Family Carnival tomorrow

This Saturday, June 1, 2019, the Kagman Schools Parents Teachers Students Association will be hosting the Kagman Family Carnival. This will take place at Kagman Elementary School field from 9am to 2pm.  
There will be a free bounce house, live entertainment, food vendors, games and lots of raffle prizes. The end-of-the-year raffle will begin at 1pm. You must be present to win!

Come down and spend the day with the family at the Kagman Schools family Carnival day this Saturday starting at 9am. (PR)

Time management training set

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce and Jim Arenovski of Island Training Solutions will be hosting a training on time management at the Saipan Chamber of Commerce conference room (Marianas Business Plaza, third floor, Suite 315) on June 26, from 9am to 12pm. Registration fee is $50 per person for Chamber members and $55 per person for non-members. Light refreshments are included. Reservations and advance payment are required as seating is limited.
