Last call for MINA Green Awards nominations

The Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance is reminding the community that June 1, 2019, is the deadline to make nominations for its annual Green Awards to be presented at their Green Gala on Sept. 13, 2019.
The award categories are as follows:
Environmental Champion Award: An individual who has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to the environment and conservation of our natural resources.
Environmental Heroes Award: A school or student organization, public or private, whose dedication to the environment is echoed through its students and all the work that they do in protecting our natural resources.
Green Business of the Year Award: A business that is committed to conservation and has incorporated the green business culture through its entire company.
Nominations must include: 1) Your name and contact information; 2) Your nominee and the category nominated for, and 3) A one-page narrative explaining why your nominee should be selected.
Send nominations on or before the deadline of June 1, 2019, to Roberta K. Guerrero at rguerrero.mina@gmail.com, and remember to save the date for the annual Green Gala for Sept. 13, 2019, Fiesta Resort and Spa Saipan’s Hibiscus Hall. (PR)
