Attention to Filipino overseas voters

As of 1 May 2019, all ballots have been mailed out to registered Filipino voters in the United States.
This was made possible by the dedication and team work of the embassy and the consulates general, and the support of the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Commission on Elections. Issues that initially posed a delay in the mailing of the ballots were finally resolved, and overseas voting, through postal mode, is now underway.
The embassy and consulates general have started to receive accomplished ballots and have been feeding them to the vote-counting machines in accordance with election rules and procedures. Voters who have not yet received their ballots, especially those who changed their addresses, are advised to check if their ballot kits are among those returned to the embassy or consulate of registration.
The embassy and consulates general are open daily, including weekends and holidays, for the purposes of the May 2019 elections. All of us are committed to ensuring that our elections are free, fair, and credible.
We urge registered overseas Filipino voters to exercise their right to vote and make their vote count. It is our right and duty as Filipino citizens. Let us all take part in shaping the future of our nation.
