Pacifica offers $5K prize at HANMI tournament
Pacifica Insurance is offering a $5,000 hole-in-one prize at the 18th Annual HANMI Charity Classic Golf Tournament on May 11, 2019, at Laolao Bay Golf & Resort west course.
“On behalf of the staff and management of Pacifica Insurance, I’d like to thank [the Hotel Association of the Northern Mariana Islands] for their charitable efforts and contributions to the hospitality of our islands over the years,” said Pacifica Insurance marketing coordinator Samantha Sikayun. “Our partnership with our hotels is key to ensuring a thriving economy.”
“We’d extend a big ‘thank you’ to Pacifica Insurance for their generous donation for this year’s HANMI Charity Classic Golf Tournament,” said tournament chair Steve Bakarishna. “Five thousand dollars is nice bit of money, and we hope one lucky golfer will hit it this year.”
Additional hole-in-one prizes include a 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross from Triple J Motors, $20,000 from LT Travel, and $20,000 from Century Tours.
The tournament is open to the first 144 paid registrants and follows a blackjack double Peoria format. Cash, cars, hotel night stays, and other prizes await the winners. The early bird tournament fee is $100 for those who register by 5pm next Friday, April 26.
The fee increases to $120 after the early bird deadline. The fee includes green fee and the awards banquet. For an additional $30, players may also compete for optional play prizes, including Accurate Drive on Line (#9), Accurate Drive Circle (#5), Aggressive Drive (#12), Longest Drive (#18), and Nearest to the Pin (#3, #7, #13, #17).
