The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the general public that there will be scheduled power interruptions on the following dates, times and locations:
Friday, March 29, 8am-1pm
• Outage type: Sectionalized feeder outage on the Feeder 2 distribution circuit
• Village location: Beach Road, Garapan
• Power service area(s) affected: Beach Road, Garapan
• Water service area(s) affected: None
• Wastewater service area(s) affected: S-10 and S-11
• Work to be performed: Maintenance
Sunday, March 31, 8am-1pm
• Outage type: Sectionalized feeder outage on the Feeder 2 distribution circuit
• Village location: Beach Road, Oleai
• Power service area(s) affected: Beach Road, Oleai
• Water service area(s) affected: None
• Wastewater service area(s) affected: S-12
• Work to be performed: Maintenance
Sunday, March 31, 8am-4pm
• Outage type: Sectionalized feeder outage on the Feeder 4 distribution circuit
• Village location: Lalanghita Road, Kagman III
• Power service area(s) affected: Lalanghita Road, Kagman III (Phase 3 and Phase 4 of Kagman III)
• Water service area(s) affected: KG-23
• Wastewater service area(s) affected: None
• Work to be performed: Replace four (4) wooden poles with concrete poles
The purpose of the scheduled power interruptions is to de-energize utility lines and allow power line workers from the company Primary Source Electric (PSE) to safely replace four (4) wooden poles with concrete poles and to perform maintenance on the power grid in the aforementioned villages. The replacement of wooden poles with concrete poles is a continuation of CUC’s ongoing restoration effort which is aimed at hardening and strengthening the power distribution system which was affected by Super Typhoon Yutu.
Because of the scale of work that will be performed, CUC asks travelers to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the working area.
