The Rotary Club of Saipan welcomed Tuesday their fifth new member in 2019, Ryan Yulo, an auditor of the Ernst & Young auditing firm.
Rotary Club of Saipan president-elect Marcia Ayuyu acted as Yulo’s sponsor and affixed the club’s pin on his lapel during the induction, making him the Rotary’s fifth inducted member for 2019.

“I believe and admire the mission and vision of the club, which is mainly to help serve others and help build a better world,” he said. “As a new member, I will do my best to help the club achieve this goal.”

Yulo was inducted under the accounting services classification.

“You have been invited to join the Rotary Club of Saipan but it is through your own actions that you become a Rotarian,” club president Greg Borja said in a short speech. “We encourage you to learn all you can about the Rotary and to strengthen your own leadership and communication skills by actively participating in the activities of the club including attending weekly meetings, social events, and service projects.”

Yulo was inducted last Tuesday right after the Rotary Club of Saipan inducted three additional members to its ranks: Joann Aquino, sponsored by Tatiana Babauta; Wendell Posadas, sponsored by Agnes McPhetres; and Das Krishnan, sponsored by Dave Sablan Sr. About two weeks prior, the Rotary Club of Saipan also inducted former member, Irene N. Holl, into the club and was also sponsored by Ayuyu.
