Police are investigating the burglary at the house of former chief prosecutor Michele Harris in Papago.

As of press time last night, Department of Public Safety spokesperson Adrian Pangelinan had yet to release details about the case.

DPS Criminal Investigation Bureau chief Jeffrey Olopai said that, as of yesterday, investigators were still gathering information about the incident.

Harris has been off-island since March 11 and just came back on Saipan Tuesday night, a source said.

Harris reported the burglary Tuesday past 9pm. There is no information yet as to what items were stolen.

Last January, Attorney General Edward Manibusan announced the appointment of Harris as consumer counsel of the Office of the Attorney General.

Harris was hired as chief prosecutor of the OAG in January 2017. Heather Barcinas is now the acting chief prosecutor.
