In the news story published last Tuesday about the Commonwealth Utilities Corp.’s Yutu expenses, it was reported that CUC acting chief financial officer Corina Magofna stated in her report that of the $15.2-million expense, the Federal Emergency Management Agency has already reimbursed CUC $11.1 million, leaving a $4.1-million balance as of March 2. Magofna clarified that, to date, they have not received any reimbursement yet. She explained that the $11.1 million is what CUC has already paid upfront. Our apologies.
