4.9-magnitude quake in Northern Islands again

The Northern Islands was struck by yet another earthquake.

According to a statement from the CNMI Homeland Security & Emergency Management Emergency Operations Center-State Warning Point, the 4.9-magnitude earthquake occurred yesterday at 1:15pm, at 120 miles east northeast of Agrihan.

Homeland Security reports that there were no personnel injuries or damages to infrastructure and no tsunami warnings or advisories were issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.

Multiple earthquakes were seen just last month off the coast of Pagan and Agrihan.
