There will be a scheduled emergency water service interruption beginning today, March 11, 2019 through March 13, 2019, from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Areas that will be affected are Chalan Monsignor Martinez Road, Airport Road in Dandan, As Lito, Lower Dandan, Tottotville, and portions of Adobu Drive in Koblerville.

The purpose of the water service interruptions is to allow personnel of the Commonwealth Utilities Corp.’s water operations to perform repairs on a damaged 6-inch transmission water line located on Airport Road.

As a result of the repair, a more reliable water system will be provided to the community.

Customers in the affected areas should expect restoration of water services soon thereafter.

For the safety of CUC’s men and women working at the site, motorists are advised to proceed with caution when traveling through the area or to take alternative routes—the northbound lane fronting Hawthorne CAT’s warehouse on Airport Road will be closed.

For more information, contact the CUC Customer Call Center (664-4282) or monitor its Facebook page for the latest updates (https://www.facebook.com/CommonwealthUtilitiesCorporation/). (PR)
