Financial aid still available for NMC spring sem

Individuals interested in registering for Northern Marianas College’s spring 2019 semester can still apply for financial aid.

Individuals interested in applying for Northern Marianas College’s spring 2019 semester can still receive financial aid to help with tuition and other academic expenses. Prospective students are encouraged to attend NMC’s upcoming information session to learn more about the federal financial aid program which uses the FAFSA.

The information session, which is open to all interested community members, will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm in NMC’s Olympio T. Borja Library.

The Federal Financial Aid program is administered by the U.S. Department of Education. Through the program’s various types of grants, loans, and scholarships, the Federal Financial Aid program is the largest financial aid provider in the U.S.

NMC faculty, staff, and students from the different degree programs, as well as Student Services representatives from financial aid, counseling, and admissions, will be on hand at the info session to answer questions. Additional topics that will be discussed include the different degree programs offered at the college and other college initiatives.

The college’s Office of Admission and Records will be present that evening to accept and register students who are interested in registering for the upcoming spring 2019 semester.

NMC offers several degree and certificate programs, including a bachelor of science degree in education (emphasis in elementary education, early childhood education, special education, or rehabilitation and human services), bachelor of science degree in business management (emphasis in accounting); associate of arts degree in business, associate of applied science degrees in business administration (emphasis in accounting, business management, or computer applications), associate of arts in liberal arts (emphasis in education, health and physical education, and social work), associate of science in nursing, natural resources management, associate of applied science in criminal justice, and hospitality management.
