Filipino YouTuber to headline Tumon Bay Music Festival event
The 15th Annual Tumon Bay Music Festival will run from Feb. 28 to March 9, 2019 at various locations in Guam. This year’s festival features over 120 performances by soloists, small groups, bands, orchestras, and choirs of all ages featuring musicians from Guam, Saipan, Philippines, Hong Kong, Japan, and California.

Famous California-based Filipino YouTuber/musician/composer A.J. Rafael will headline the Festival outdoor pop concert—JAZZ, ROCK & BEYOND—on Sunday, March 3 at the Ypao Amphitheater. This event will feature a few of Guam’s established bands, the 721st Army Rock Band, and several student groups from Guam and Saipan. This is free and open to the public.
Still want to be part of the festival? No problem, join the Festival Collaborative Ensembles which include the Guam Honor Band, the Tumon Bay International Wind Orchestra, the new Tumon Bay Youth Orchestra and Concordia Tumon Bay (festival massed choir). We have an ensemble for singers and instrumentalists of all ages and experience levels. Rehearsals will take place on March 6-8, from 6pm to 9pm at Okkodo High School.
