Celebrate the power of a wish at the “Black Ties & Zories” Wish Night on Friday, March 1, 2019, that will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of Make-A-Wish Guam and CNMI at the Hyatt Regency Saipan’s Ballroom.

Wishes are more than just a nice thing. And they are far more than gifts, or singular events in time. Wishes impact everyone involved—wish kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals, and communities. The impact varies. For wish kids, just the act of making their wish come true can give them the courage to comply with their medical treatments. Parents might finally feel like they can be optimistic. And still others might realize all they have to offer the world through volunteer work or philanthropy. Whatever the odds, whatever the obstacles…wishes find a way to make the world better.

The “Black Ties & Zories” Wish Night is a chance for the CNMI community to come together to not only celebrate the 295 wishes granted in the region, but also help secure continued funding of wishes for those families impacted by a child’s critical illness.

Tickets are still available for sale at the Hyatt Regency Saipan, Gold’s Gym Saipan, Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan, and board members Wendi Herring (285-6175), Jay Santos (285- 5466), and Kanae Quinn (285-1168) or email cnmiwish@gmail.com for more information.

The evening starts with a complimentary cocktail hour from 6pm to 7pm, followed by a four-course menu created specially created by Hyatt executive chef Gabriel Colombo. Saipan’s favorite JJ Concepcion will sing some of his popular songs with a special guest appearance by Louise Muña. The best zories contest promises to award fabulous prizes to the best male and best female guests, and the raffle packages will include a multitude of spectacular items and gift certificates. DJ Rico will conclude the evening’s festivities while guests have a chance to put on their dancing zories.
