Triple J Saipan 5K Bubble Color Run/Walk Feb. 23
Save the date, Feb. 23, for the happiest, most colorful and foamiest run on Saipan—the Triple J Saipan 5K Bubble Color Run/Walk.
Show time is at 5am, while Zumba warm-up is at 5:15am, and the race will kick off at 6am. The 2.5-kilometer course will start and end at the Garapan Fishing Base, behind the Garapan Farmers Market with a turnaround point past the Quartermasters Road.
Early bird registration is on-going at $10 and will be until Feb. 22 at 4pm at four Triple J Locations: Hertz Rent-A-Car in Garapan; Triple J Motors on Beach Road; Triple J Truckload Store in Chalan Kanoa and the Surfrider Resort Hotel behind Great Harvest Bakery in Chalan Kanoa. Each registered runner will receive a custom event T-shirt and the opportunity to get “colored” during the race, a race bib to track individual start-to-finish time, and a raffle entry for thousands of dollars worth of prizes.
The Triple Saipan restaurant group will also be on site to provide fantastic sweet and savory options for a light and healthy breakfast as D.J. Rico of Soundhire Saipan keeps the grounds lit.
“Thanks to our business partners, an endless supply of refreshments will be offered to keep everyone hydrated and alert as a live emcee raffles off thousands of dollars worth in prize packages and giveaways. Don’t miss out on one of the first big, community events on Saipan,” Triple J Saipan said in a press statement.
