Small craft advisory in effect

Share

A small craft advisory in the CNMI is now in effect until 6am Saturday. That means wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots are expected to produce wave conditions hazardous to small craft.

Winds and seas remain hazardous across the Marianas, with northeast winds of 15 to 25 knots and occasional gusts of up to 30 knots. Waves/seas will reach 9 to 11 feet.

The public and inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid sailing in these conditions. (EOC)
