Santa Lourdes Fiesta on Feb. 9

The people of AsTeo are happy to announce that the annual Santa Lourdes Fiesta will be on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019. The nine days of novena will be said at the Santa Lourdes Shrine, starting on Friday, Feb. 1, at 5pm. On Saturday, Feb. 9, the rosary will start at 2:30pm, the novena at 3pm, and the Mass at 3:30pm, followed by procession. (PR)

MLSC to host probate workshops

The Marianas Office of Micronesian Legal Services Corp. will be hosting a series of probate workshops. These are intended as community legal education to help people in the CNMI understand the probate process.

The first workshop will be Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, 3pm at the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library and will focus on where to start for probate when a loved one dies. The workshops are free. Call MLSC at 234-7729 for more information. (PR)

JKPL to hold February Kidz Camp

The Joeten-Kiyu Public Library will be holding a free, fun-filled February Kidz Camp this coming February. The camp will take place on three Saturdays—Feb. 9, 16, and 23, 2019, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

February Kidz Camp is an exciting way to encourage learning, literacy, and laughs. Examples of activities will include arts and crafts, dance, computer activities, and more. February Kidz Camp is open to children ages 6-12, and the child must have a library card free of fees and fines. Registration is required—registration will open from Jan. 15 to 31 (Tuesday-Friday 10:30am-5:30pm, Saturday 9:30am-3:30pm) at the front circulation desk. Sessions are limited, so be sure to sign up quickly.
