Friends of the Arts’ Peter Pan starts Friday

The Friends of the Art’s production of Peter Pan starts this Friday, Feb. 1 The beloved J.M. Barrie play, Peter Pan or The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up, will be performed this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 1, 2 and 3. The award-winning Broadway play is co-directed by Katie Hoyt and Neil Fama, produced by Ellen Kroot, with technical direction by Harold Easton for this Friends of the Arts production.
Peter Pan first debuted in London in 1904 and premiered at the National Theater in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 16, 1905, followed by a long run on Broadway. The play tells the story of Peter Pan, a mischievous yet innocent little boy who can fly, and lives on the island of Neverland that is inhabited by mermaids, fairies, Native Americans, and pirates. The play also involves the characters Wendy Darling and her two brothers, Peter’s fairy Tinker Bell, the Lost Boys, and the pirate Captain Hook. The play has a cast of 23 playing 30 different roles.
The play will be held at the Round House Theater in Garapan Central Park (next to Gold’s Gym) in Garapan. Show dates will be on Feb. 1, 2 and 3, all shows starting at 7m. Tickets prices for all three shows start at $4 for students, $6 for FOA members, and $8 for adults. You may purchase tickets from members of the play’s cast and at the door.
