Water outage in San Vicente, Upper Dandan, Obyan

There is currently an emergency water service interruption for the upper, lower and south San Vicente, Upper Dandan, and Obyan areas.

The cause of the interruption is due to an 8-inch transmission line break on Isa Drive in San Vicente north of San Vicente Elementary baseball field.

Water personnel of the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. were making the necessary repairs yesterday and expected to complete work by 4:30pm.

Once the repairs are completed, the CUC crew will then need ample time to refill the tank and for the whole distribution line to be pressurized.

Customers in the affected areas should expect restoration of water services by 6:30pm yesterday.

For the safety of the CUC men and women working at the site, motorists are advised to proceed with caution when traveling through the area or to take alternative routes.
