Continued access for GWA to wells in Guam
Joint Region Marianas completed coordination with the U.S. Department of Education to facilitate the Guam Waterworks Authority’s continued ownership and access to three water wells in the Marbo area of Yigo, as the U.S. DOE reverts the Marbo property to the federal government.
Consistent with the provision in the U.S. DOE deed to the government of Guam, the Department of the Navy will administer the Marbo site effective Nov. 20.
“Facilitating continued access to the GWA water wells on Marbo property is a result of One Guam partnering with our government utility agency,” said Naval Facilities Engineering Command Marianas commanding officer Capt. Dan Turner. (PR)
