RO station at Pakpak Beach closed

The U.S. Department of Defense discontinued the reverse osmosis station at Pakpak Beach, as well as the water buffaloes stationed at Mt. Carmel Cathedral field and Koblerville Fire Station, last Saturday, Nov. 25, 2018, at 6pm. The water buffaloes were closed at 6pm yesterday. (PR)

Closure of water filling station

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. has closed its Koblerville water filling station due to zero customer demands for the last two days. The closure was effective last Saturday, Nov. 25, 2015. FHB adjusts Saipan branch hours

Effective today, Nov. 26, all First Hawaiian Bank branches on Saipan will be open during the weekdays from 9am to 3pm until further notice.
First Hawaiian Bank customers with Internet connectivity may access their account information online via FHB Online and Mobile or may contact the bank’s Customer Service Call Center for at 1-888-844-4444. FHB’s Saipan branches are at the Gualo Rai Commercial Center on Middle Road and Oleai Center on Beach Road. (PR)

Continued access for GWA to wells in Guam

Joint Region Marianas completed coordination with the U.S. Department of Education to facilitate the Guam Waterworks Authority’s continued ownership and access to three water wells in the Marbo area of Yigo, as the U.S. DOE reverts the Marbo property to the federal government.

Consistent with the provision in the U.S. DOE deed to the government of Guam, the Department of the Navy will administer the Marbo site effective Nov. 20.

“Facilitating continued access to the GWA water wells on Marbo property is a result of One Guam partnering with our government utility agency,” said Naval Facilities Engineering Command Marianas commanding officer Capt. Dan Turner. (PR)
